Jeremy Adam is an experienced solo artist, band leader, recording artist, producer, director, playwright, composer, voice instructor, pianist, and accompanist. While in Philly, he has immersed himself in the local music and theater scene.
His music is often born on the acoustic guitar, but thanks to a diverse musical upbringing, his sound is inspired by many genres, including but not limited to rock (classic, alternative, indie, folk), pop, soul, r&b, and musical theater. Pair that with continuous collaboration with various local artists, producers, and musicians, and you get an ever-progressing development of sound, which crosses genres, and appeals to all types of listeners.
His music stands apart for its rhythmic essence, catchy melodies, and mindful lyrics, which are grounded in emotional depth and littered with vivid poetic language.
Originally from New Jersey, Jeremy moved to Philadelphia in 2011 to pursue a degree in theatre from Temple University, which he received in 2015. Alongside his studies, he began to work as a solo artist, writing and recording original music, and also helped to form and lead a local cover band.
You can now catch him with his new original band - Ophelia the Band, or as one half of Philly’s new original rock n soul duo - Adam + Parke! He also performs regularly as a cabaret singer and solo acoustic musician, and has played on stages all over the country.
Jeremy also produces events for local artists and hosts open mics at various bars in Philadelphia. He has been writing music for over 15 years and independently released his first original studio EP in 2016. His latest project was as co-writer, composer, and director for The Hum’n’bards Theater Troupe’s production of The Tower for the 2022 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
